Samsung just officially release Galaxy series smartphone with this brand new Galaxy A8. This is the thinnest device that Samsung ever released in the history. It even thinner than it’s predecessor Galaxy A7. The thickness is really slim which carry only at 5.9mm. The smartphone has a curvature metal frame which is identical to Samsung Galaxy S6. But it still different with Galaxy S6 as the matte aluminum alloy frame is replaced by aluminum.
It has a 16 megapixel camera with super wide at one point and a perch on the back. There is a fingerprint scanner which is embedded into the phone but on the front lower hood. There is a 3,050 mAh battery inside to keep the lights on and of course as far as the displays concerns, it is having a pretty large 5.7 inch display screen of full HD Super AMOLED display and the resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels.

For the internal processor, it is using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Soc, Cortex-A53 cores working at 1.0GHz. The onboard RAM is 2GB and there are 2 onboard storage options that you can choose from for either 16GB or 32GB. You can find a microSD card slot inside the phone. One disadvantage of the phone is that the memory expansion slot is shared with the 2nd SIM slot, which makes you not possible to have both microSD and dual-SIM at the same time. It supports the latest Android 4.1 Lollipop.

Dimension measurement of A8 is 157.7 x 76.7 x 5.94mm. The unit is powered by a 3,050 mAh battery and Samsung promises 304 hours of standby time. The weight of Galaxy A8 is very light as well where it only weight at 151 grams. For the color options, there are 3 different color available where you can choose to get either white, black and gold.
