Just Bought A Panasonic Lumix Ds75 Camera. Installed Software And Will Not Let Me Upload Pics!so Disappointed

I just bought this camera online to use for my sister’s graduation. I installed the Lumix Simple Viewer software and plugged in USB and connected to the camera. Will not let me acquire photos. The driver does not show up after software installed. I am using Windows XP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
